Karan Casey has long been one of the most innovative, provocative and imitated voices in Irish traditional and folk music. Her career has spanned twenty five years from the early days as a jazz performer in George’s Bistro in Dublin to her heady days in New York with the band Solas. Karan then embarked on what has been a wonderful solo career, during which she has released six solo albums. She has garnered a number of prestigious awards and was a key member of the Grammy award winning “ Celtic Solstice “ Karan has collaborated with many of the leading figures in the world of music, from the legendary James Taylor to the wonderful Imelda May.

Karan will be joined on stage by three of our most gifted musicians: Niall Vallely (concertina), Sean Og Graham (guitar) and also from the mighty Beoga, Niamh Dunne (fiddle and vocals).
