“We may have different feathers and sing a different song
But when we sing together, the differences are gone.”
“Let’s sing a chorus and raise a glass” …and celebrate the migration of festival friends with Fil and Tom
Their quirky and sensitive look at life around us will send you on thinking and their fun choruses will get your voices tuned up for the rest of the weekend.
Fil Campbell and Tom McFarland from Co. Down, have been performing as a duo since the early 90s. The combination of two vocals, guitar and percussion, and a mix of original, contemporary and traditional songs, lots of choruses and the Irish gift of chat and craic, has brought them around the world many times.
“Captivating songs” Living Tradition
Together, their latest CD, is a collection of self-penned, quirky original songs, from both Fil and Tom, reflecting the times we live in – both political and social – as well as stories from the road told in song. It was recorded in their own studio in Rostrevor.
